ALWAYS IN MY PRAYERS






Philemon 1:4 I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,

My Prayer: Help me to always remember that my body is the temple of God and I will glorify God in my body and in my spirit.






SCRIPTURE: I CORINTHIANS 6:9-11, 15,17,19-20


9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

My Prayer: As I pray for myself, help me to always remember to pray for my brother, that he also be delivered from the hand of the evil one.





Scripture: I CORINTHIANS 5:5 -7, 11-13


5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?


7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.


12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

My Prayer: Help me to walk in the Spirit and not be carnel minded, laboring unto good works that my works not be burned up by fire.



Scripture: I CORINTHIANS 3:3, 7-9, 13-17

3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

My Prayer: Help me to be found faithful O'Lord and have my heart focused on you.

2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

21 What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?

My Prayer: I know there is no glory in the flesh, so help me to always glory in the Lord.






Scripture: 1CORINTHIANS 1:26-31

25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

My Prayer: Give me the Faith to stand in the power and wisdom of God and have the mind of Christ.






Scripture: I CORINTHIANS 2:5-6, 9-16


5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

My Prayer: Let the peace of God rule my heart that I may walk in charity and learn to be thankful, always forgiving my brother. Help me to put off the old man and walk in the new man as I set my affection on heavenly things and not on things of the earth.





Scripture: COLOSSIANS 3: 2, 5-6, 8-10, 12-17, 24-25


2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

My Prayer: Help me to walk in wisdom, speak in grace, and know how to answer every man.








Scripture: COLOSSIANS 4:2, 4-6



2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

My Prayer: I desire to be filled with the knowledge of your will and spiritual understanding. As I pray this prayer for myself, help me to also remember to pray for my brothers in Christ.






Scripture: COLOSSIANS 1:3, 9-11


3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

My Prayer: I have received Christ Jesus as my Lord and need strength to walk in Him, stablished in the Faith and abounding with thanksgiving.

WATCH YE THEREFORE AND PRAY





Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

My Prayer: He that has begun a good work in me, will perform it. Help me to trust and rest in the Lord, with the assurance that He has everything under control.





Scripture: PHILIPPIANS 1: 6, 9-11


6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

My Prayer: Let my life shine as a light to the world and help me to do all things without complaining.






Scripture: PHILLIPPIANS 2:13-15


13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

My Prayer: Help me to forget those things that are behind and reach for those things that are before me. Help me to be perfect-minded in Christ.







Scripture: PHILIPPIANS 3: 13-13-15


13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

My Prayer: Help me to rest in your peace O' God, knowing that you will supply all of my needs. Give me strength to stand and keep my heart and mind on you. Help me to remember to pray with thanksgiving and think on things that are honest, just, pure, lovely and of a good report. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.






Scripture: Philippans 4: 6-8, 13


6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
